OptiMesh by Spineology is a porous mesh container knitted from polyester yarn made of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) thread. It is a multiplanar expandable interbody implant almost completely comprised of biologics once expanded, and is designed as a custom conforming implant for use in various lumbar interbody fusion approaches including open, MIS TLIF, ultra-MIS (OptiLIF), or endoscopic (OptiLIF Endo). Conform and Expand Technology starts with one of the smallest insertion profiles and expands to one of the largest implant footprints available, up to 29mm wide and 34mm long, and dynamically conforms to a patient's unique endplate morphology, providing a custom anatomical fit every time. The expansion is multiplanar with up to 20mm of continuous expansion, and generates significant distraction forces to restore disc height. The implant is highly porous with a 1500-micron pore size, allowing for bony through growth while still containing the biologic material.
