DESCRIPTION

Proficient by Spine Wave is a versatile posterior cervical spine system designed to treat standard or complex posterior cervical spine cases from a traditional open or muscle sparing approach. It offers three unique screw designs: polyaxial tri-lobe screw with 120 degrees of angulation with a freely-functioning tensioned tulip head, a translational screw which offers 80 degrees of angulation and allows for 5mm of medial/lateral translation, and extended tab screws to help guide rod placement with 3mm of reduction. To simplify longer complex constructs, the screws are available in 3.8, 4.2, 4.6, and 5.5 mm diameters and accept 3.5 or 4.0 mm rod sizes, and the system includes smooth shank screws, low profile cross connectors, titanium and cobalt rod options, and various configurations of offset, parallel, and axial connectors.
