Aptofuse by Clariance is a bioactive composite bone graft with moldable versatility. It is made of 50% carbonate apatite anorganic bone material, 30% 45S5 bioactive glass, and 20% highly purified bovine-derived Type 1 collagen. The strip can be hydrated with saline or autogenous bone marrow (1:1 volume ratio) and then molded to match the contours of the defect. It can also be combined with autograft as a bone extender.
