DESCRIPTION

The BioCORE is a moldable bioactive glass strip composed of Carbonate apatite, bioactive glass, and type I collagen. Can be hydrated with BMA for delivery of osteogenic cells.


  • 50% Carbonate Apatite: made from bovine cancellous bone. 
  • 30% Bioactive glass: remodels through ion exchange to become hydroxyapatite and ultimately to bone
  • 20% Type I collagen - bovine
