CapSure PS3 by Spine Wave is a top loading pedicle screw thoracolumbar fixation system, featuring a ball and socket joint screw design that allows for its maximum polyaxial angulation even when the screw is fully seated into the pedicle. The screw also has a double lead thread that advances the screw two full threads for each full torsion of the T-handle, reducing required effort and insertion time. Instrumentation in this system is simplified with a ratcheting persuader that allows for up to 30 mm of reduction in 2 mm increments with the push of a lever, and a snap-on screwdriver that maintains secure engagement of the screw during insertion.
