StaXx XD Ti by Spine Wave is a low profile expandable PEEK interbody spacer with textured titanium plasma coated endplates providing increased surface area of the bone-implant interface. The small insertion profile allows for a less invasive approach with minimal retraction, while being able to expand within the disc space to the desired height. In situ expansion is at the squeeze of a surgical gun trigger offering controlled distraction in 1 mm increments. The solid PEEK implant body provides proven strength, and the endplates coated with plasma sprayed commercially pure titanium increases bone-implant interface for increased osteointegration.
