TowerLOX MIS Pedicle Screw System by Captiva Spine can support MIS, mini-open, and open pedicle screw cases, for posterior fixation of the thoracolumbar spine. The narrow insertion diameter reduces tissue trauma, while the open extended tabs still allows for visual confirmation of rod passage. With the PivoQuik rod inserter it maintains a reliable connection for safe and accurate MIS rod pivot without disengaging from the inserter. Triple lead thread allows for rapid and robust rod reduction, up to 32 mm, with integration of the set screw. Screws have a large buttress thread to enhance the interconnection between the set screw and tulip, dual lead thread for faster insertion with self-tapping triple flute for self-centering, polyaxial angulation up to 63 degrees, and the cannulated option accepts a 1.4 mm guidewire.
