ADDplus by Ulrich Medical USA is a titanium alloy expandable vertebral body replacement implant used for surgical reconstruction of defects of the anterior thoracolumbar spine T1-L5. It is designed with integrated low profile superior and inferior plates for increased stability, and anchored with unique osmium screw technology to provide optimal stabilization. The distal wings of the screw expand 0.7 mm to improve bone purchase and stability once the pin is inserted. Continuous frictionless expansion in situ uses gear driven technology, allowing for easy placement and bridging of the defect. Intended for use with supplemental fixation.
