The SiphonGuard Anti-Siphon Device by Codman (Integrated Lifesciences) is a flow regulating antisiphon device that utilizes a 2 pathway system for regulating flow. In primary pathway, the main channel remains open and flow proceeds as normal. With increased flow rate above ~140ml/hr the bulk flow pushes the spring-loaded valve closed and flow is diverted to the secondary pathway that decreases flow by up to 90%. This is helpful in times of suddent increase in flow with excercize, valsalva, cough or overdrainage
