FORTIFY by Globus is a vertebral body replacement corpectomy spacer for use in the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine. The Corpectomy cage is intended to be used with secondary supplemental plate fixation. There is a FORTIFY II cage which has integrated screw fixation. The Cage comes in various materials and diameter options as well as final expansion ranges to fit a multitude of final corpectomy dimensions ranging from the cervical spine to the thoracolumbar spine. The endplates are compression fit and come in a variety of parallel, lordotic, round, oval and rectangular designs to maximize endplate coverage.
The FORTIFY Corpectomy Spacer comes in 2 material options of PEEK and Titanium. The Titanium cage is available in with a Variable Angle superior endplate (FORTIFY VA) which allows dynamic angulation in both lordosis and the coronal plane for optimal endplate contact. This occurs automatically and self aligns to the endplate with a locking screw to secure the angulation.
