ILIAD by Medyssey is a thoracolumbar posterior spinal fixation system with a variety of screw options with heads that feature a dovetail locking system with linear slot mechanism. The dovetail thread design reduces the chance of cross threading, while the linear slot in the set screw compresses upon final tightening to increase holding forces and preventing screw back out. The screws are available in mono, poly, reduction mono, reduction poly, cannulated mono, and cannulated poly options, with a wide range of sizes. The rod options include straight, pre-bent, titanium alloy, and cobalt-chrome molybdenum alloy.
