The StrataMR II valve by Medtronic PS Medical is an MRI compatible hydrocephalus shunt valve up to 3T that utilizes the same reliable adjustbale performace levels that have been used in the Strata NSC and Strata II valves. The valve utilizes a ball-in-cone that has a locking rotating adjustment key to apply pressure to the ball thereby increasing or decreasing flow resistance. It features an antisiphone Delta Chamber and comes in 2 sizes, regular and small.
