Defender ACP by Spine Wave is a low profile anterior cervical plate with a dual cam-lock mechanism designed to secure both screws at the same vertebral level in one step utilizing the same driver. Screws feature a dual-lead thread design and hexalobe interface, are offered in 4.0 and 4.25 diameters, and lengths ranging from 10-22 mm. Screw types include self-drilling, self-tapping, fixed and variable angle. Plates are 2.2 mm thick x 16.5 mm wide, and come in lengths ranging from single level 8 mm hole-to-hole and up to 5 level as long as 91 mm, have smooth tapered edges, large graft window design, and are curved in both the axial and sagittal planes.
