The Salvo 5.5/6.0 Modular Thoracolumbar spinal fixation system by Spine Wave is a modular pedicle screw system that allows the surgeon the flexibility to either assemble the screw in situ after decompression, or to pre-assemble the screw prior to insertion. Salvo Modular Fixation Technology enables manual or navigated insertion of the screw prior to decompression or interbody implantation, and then the tulip can be attached using the head inserter which provides positive confirmation of assembly with a click of a button. The overall screw design provides easy screw adjustment, 60 degrees of polyaxial angulation, triple lead thread for faster insertion, and an anti-splay locking screw with bow tie thread form. Screws are manufactured of all titanium and 5.5 and 6.0 mm diameter rods are available in CoCr and Ti alloy. Screwdrivers have the same footprint as the locking screw for ease of use, and a variety of rod manipulation and reduction instruments are available for surgeon preference. Comprehensive offering of implants for both Degenerative and Complex Spine.
