Tesera kSC by KYOCERA is a stand alone zero profile anterior cervical interbody spacer made of highly porous ultra-low stiffness 3D printed titanium alloy. Tesera k implants feature Resilience Technology with dual-wall lattice structure with the modulus range of cancellous bone, allowing for ultra-low stiffness and reduction of stress shielding and subsidence. Tesera Trabecular Technology (T3) promotes biologic fixation and long-term stability via a highly porous surface. The porosity matches that of cancellous bone and is built up in one contiguous process increasing the strength of the bone-like modulus. It also has a large pore size and high frictional coefficient which enhances initial mechanical stability as well as promote bone ingrowth for long-term fixation.
The Tesera kSC has two integrated screws with optimal screw angulation for stackable design, and a single-step locking screw mechanism. Available in multiple footprint, height, and lordosis options. It also has a 5mm height no screw hole option that is not stand alone.
