DESCRIPTION

The PLAGE Anterior Cervical Fusion System by Rhausler is a one-piece titanium plate-cage implant designed for immediate single-level surgical fixation of the anterior cervical spine. The all-in-one device has a large surface area to reduce force on he bony endplates and the integrated fixation plate allows for direct purchase into the vertebrae without damaging the endplates that are supporting the cage. There are slotted screw holes for translational functionality and various screw placement positions, and the locking of the bone screw is co-axial with visual and tactile locking verification. The superior and inferior surfaces are textured to enhance bonding and bone growth, and the thin radiolucent sidewall windows allow visualization of the boney in-growth post operatively.
