The Miethke GAV 2.0 (Gravity Assisted Valve) for hydrocephalus is a fixed differential pressure valve with bult-in gravitational unit to prevent overdrainage. It is distributed by Aesculap and builds on it predecessor the GAV. It is MRI compatible and comes in 6 pressure configuration options that are idetifiable on Xrays via the distal shape of the valve.
